Turn a PDF with selectable text into an editable Word document

With artifexsoftware/pdf2docx, pdf2docx MIT. PyMuPDF and MuPDF AGPL-3.0, with matching source archives in /usr/share/doc/pymupdf.. It runs once on your files and hands you the result.

Open in UGTUGT opens on your computer and shows what it will do. Nothing runs until you press Run.

It takes

a PDF with selectable text, including text in tables inputs/document.pdf

It gives you

an editable Word document outputs/document.docx

It can reach

Only the files you give it, with no network.

Tested

On clean amd64 and arm64 machines, 2026-11-04, its check passing on its sample and failing on broken results.
